TripEngine is a marketplace for complete group travel programs. Organizers discover proven programs from the suppliers, DMCs, agencies and planners who run them, and request a version for their group — eliminating the slow, fragmented RFP process that has defined group travel for decades.
Why we built this
After 20 years in group travel — including helping scale a business to over $1 billion in revenue and thousands of trips globally — one thing was clear: the industry was forcing everyone to start from scratch.
Buyers were sending RFPs into a void and waiting weeks for generic proposals. Suppliers and planners were doing spec work for deals that never closed. And the best programs — the ones that had already been executed, refined, and proven — were sitting in their files, invisible to the buyers who needed them.
TripEngine is the fix. The people who run great group trips list their real programs. Buyers discover them, evaluate the program before engaging, and request a customized version. No cold outreach. No spec proposals. No wasted time on either side.
The marketplace model works everywhere else in the world. It was time for group travel to catch up.
